Marketing Manager
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for ensuring organizational growth accomplishing marketing mission by directing all marketing, brand building, and brand promotion activities, and developing world-wide marketing and branding campaigns. Working with the management team, this position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices.
Responsibilities by Function
- Report to CEO.
- Play a significant role in annual planning, including an initiative geared toward outstanding performance with well-built brands.
- Plan, organize and conduct monthly, quarterly and yearly team seminars.
- Interdepartmental collaboration:
- Maintain work process flows by coordinating information and requirements with related support functions.
- Participating with and providing resources to business improvement teams.
- Serve as a member of management team by enhancing communications among departments.
- Keep management informed by preparing reports; making presentations; interpreting information; making recommendations.
- Team Management:
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
- Communicate job expectations.
- Train and mentor staffs in accounts management requirements.
- Develop personal growth opportunities and motivate staffs.
- Coordinate and supervise project specialist’s daily work results.
- Enforce procedures and policies.
- Market goals accomplishment:
- Design creative and innovative marketing strategies based on company budgets.
- Direct planning process for the annual marketing goals and monitor market adjustments.
- Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of marketing goals.
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing standards.
- Monitor calls; survey customers; evaluate outcomes.
- Resolve customer problems by training telemarketing service representatives.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- 1-2 years related industry experience.
Project Specialist
The Project Specialist will be responsible for accomplishing marketing mission by completing related results as needed. Contributing to all marketing, brand building, and brand promotion activities. The Project Specialist will interface at high levels with customers, industry experts and marketing teams to provide application, method development and technical support.
Responsibilities by Function
- Report to Marketing Manager.
- Provide oral and written technical support for the product to customer and marketing team worldwide.
- Collaborative work with Analyst on technical requirements from customers.
- Produce application and technical notes, operator manuals, white papers.
- Maintain reference manuals and dialogue guides.
- Analytical method development for applications in the Educational and Research markets.
- Perform analytical method development, column selection and sample preparation.
- Create presentations and conduct seminars and product demonstrations at customer sites and trade shows.
- Approximately 20-40% travel is required (domestic and international).
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in technical support.
- Critical analytical skills to effectively evaluate equipment performance and troubleshoot equipment and process problems.
- Ability to identify and anticipate problems or errors and provide innovative solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work accordingly.
- Proficient with Microsoft, Adobe.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills for the resolution of issues associated with completing daily activities.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (both oral and written).
- Experience presenting and speaking in front of large groups.
